This blog is my articulation of the proposals of the emerging church within the Indian social location. The discussion of the relevance of the organized Church and his cultural appropriateness predates the emerging/emergent movement by over half a century.

Indian-christian theologians have experimented and explored the possiblity of alternative church structure that would be relevant to the cultural ethos and context of India. The emerging/emergent church has brought back the “organized” religion debate. I am sure that the study of Indian-christian theologians is sure to richly inform the emerging church discourse.
